Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of 1 Senior Clinical Fellow within Trauma, Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery, at Salford Royal Foundation Trust. This is a 12-month post which will provide an opportunity for the appointee to learn and develop subspecialty-level skill in the management of Orthopaedics. This will be working within the Major trauma and Pelvic team.The Salford Royal Foundation Trust is the sole centre for Major Trauma for the whole of Greater Manchester (population of 3.2 million.The successful candidate will be based at SRFT with elective lists predominantly at Fairfield General Hospital and Oakland’s Private Hospital.The successful applicant must have full registration with the GMC and continue to hold a Licence to Practice.The successful fellow will be given active support with basic science and clinical research / audit and will be expected to present and publish this work as appropriate.In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership.
