An opportunity has arisen for a vacancy within the Integrated Care Division for a Registered Nurse for work in our small 3 bedded elective procedures unit. Patients that come into this unit come in for a variety of day case procedures, some which involve overnight stays. The procedures includes ascetic drains, recovery of CT guided lung biopsy patients, pre admission and recovery of patients attending for an ERCP, with other gastro procedures that require recovery and overnight stays.The nursing team work independently in the recovery of the patients and the medical team will ensure the patients are reviewed prior to their discharge.The successful candidate will be required to perform venipuncture and cannulation along with the removal of ascetic drains.
