Chasing samples for meetings.Set up of new seasons Critical Paths and Intake Sheets.Client DetailsA market leading textile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce textiles for a number of large retail accounts as well as Fashion. Due to growth and some key hires in the business they are now looking for a Product Development Coordinator ( Assistant Buyer) to cover someone due to going on Mat Leave.DescriptionInitial selection meeting preparation.Chasing samples for meetings.Set up of new seasons Critical Paths and Intake Sheets.Ensuring all information is being filled in on Critical Paths and Intake Sheets.Liaise closely with studio on new designs.Liaise with the display team to set up showrooms for meetings.Setting up new lines on the system.Recording and photographing new lines.Managing the product pool in terms of selected/deselected lines.Organising samples for both internal and external meetings.Responsible for ensuring all samples are logged on Critical Paths and Intake Sheet, and samples are stored on cold sample room.Complete product component lists with all relevant information.Complete Barcode Create forms and send to the retailers.Liaise with Quality on initial product checks.Chase and ensure all Quality aspects are carried out.Organising packaging within timescales.Organising photography within timescales.Chasing and approving packaging from the factories.Chasing Gold Seals and liaising with Quality.Organising weekly Critical Path meetings.ProfileEnthusiastic & able to work cooperatively with different departmentsExperience in Buying, Product Development or similarAble to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines whilst attention to detail is paramount.Good system knowledge, including Microsoft Office.Able to work on own initiative.Job OfferClose to transport linksFriendly Office EnvironmentProduct Development Coordinator - TextilesProduct Development Coordinator - TextilesProduct Development Coordinator - Textiles Required skills
