• Starting September 2023, full time & long term.
• Monday to Friday.
• 8:15am - 3:15pm each day.
• Excellent pay up to £90/day.
• Paid PAYE direct with Tradewind, we dont use umbrella pay companies.
• Will turn permanent for the right person.
• Access to over 2000 FREE education training courses via our partnership with The National College.

• Personal Care Assistant supporting secondary aged pupils with Complex Needs.
• You will be working with a variety of different students on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
• Your primary role will be to provide personal care support across the school.
• This will involve changing, toileting, personal hygiene and moving & handling.
• It will involve the use of wheelchairs and hoist for some pupils.
• You may need to support with learning as well.
• Great chance to make a real difference to the quality of life of some of our most vulnerable young people.

• Special needs secondary school for young people with Autism, Complex Needs, PMLD and SLD.
• Students are aged 11-19.
• Friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Inclusive, diverse and supportive environment.
• Amazing facilities including hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, therapy rooms & play rooms.
• The school can offer regular training opportunities for long term staff.
• Accessible by bus, tram or car.

To join us and be successful in this school based Personal Care Assistant role in the Salford area, you will need to:

• Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one)
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
• Minimum of two professional references.
• Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Some experience with teenagers or young adults.
