We are looking to recruit an experienced business operations manager. This is a key position in an SME organisation. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of logistics, manufacturing , supplier management, warehousing and supplier managementin a specialist engineering business. You will manage a small team of around 10 people. The company produce specialist engineering solutions for the manufacturing sector through a mixture of working closely with third party business partners and in house assembly of complex sub systems. In this position you will need good communication and leadership skills to focus a willing team. It is likely you come from a supply chain or manufacturing back ground. You will have a passion for getting it right first time and the ability to continuouslyreview and improve process.This is a key role in the business, you will work closely with the MD taking ownership of the operations side of the business, managing supplier relationships, ensuring sufficient stocks of key components and subsystems, organising and focussing the small manufacturingteam and be the person who joins the dots to ensure orders are assembled and delivered successfully working closely with operations, clients and suppliers during the fulfilment process. This is a key role in a growing business that values its people and will invest in their training and development. In this position you will make a real difference and be a key element in them continuing to achieve their consistent growth year on year.
