Male Support WorkerWaking Nights opportunity in Salford, Manchester for 42 hours/weekThe roleGray Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Male Support Worker to join their team in Salford, supporting a gentleman with an ABI.The person supported has a sharp sense of humour and an enthusiasm for fitness. He loves going to the gym daily and healthy eating. He especially enjoys trips out in the car, supporting his local football team and listening to music.The support is provided by an all male team in a 2 bedroom flat in Clipper Keys, Salford and the team is 2-to-1 days, 2-to-1 nights, 1 waking / 1 sleep.The vacancy is for 42 hours comprising 3 x 12 hour night shifts week 1, 4 x 12 hour night shifts week 2, rolling rota, working hours 8pm8am.The candidateWe are looking for experienced Support Workers for this team who have a manual driving license to drive the mobility vehicle.We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience as a Support Worker within ABI, Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Mental Health.You will have an interest, motivation and enthusiasm to develop experience and skills to work with people with complex needs. Ideally you will have at least Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards the qualification within GrayHealthcare.You will be able to manage difficult situations calmly and work within agreed evidence based PBS plans. You be able to complete good quality support records, detailing the activities of daily living.
