Job Description

Attending fit sessions, taking accurate notes and photos to aid in adding comments to the workbooks for each style.Following the critical path, chasing and logging sample submissions and packaging details from suppliers.Client DetailsA rapidly growing Fashion Online retailer in Manchester. The business sell Womenswear Fashion product across, dresses, causal, swimwear, Shoes, Accessories etc. They are known for their popular collaborations. There are seeking a Junior QA - Womens Fashion due to demand and growth.Description

  • Working on multiple products across; Jersey, Sweat, Seamless Knitwear & Woven on womens ranges
  • Assisting in the resolution of fit, quality and construction issues.
  • Measuring sealing samples comprising of first fits, second fits, pre-production, shipment and replen samples (as required) in line with critical path deadlines - assisting the technologists to ensure the products are in line with expectations.
  • Attending fit sessions, taking accurate notes and photos to aid in adding comments to the workbooks for each style.
  • Following the critical path, chasing and logging sample submissions and packaging details from suppliers.
  • Assisting in approval of packaging and labelling details.
  • Assisting in the review of returns information
  • Maintaining an organised environment ensuring all samples are stored in their correct areas for ease of access.
  • Carrying out duties within other departments where required.
  • Assisting in sending out test request forms and approving garment test reports, ensuring brand standards and quality are met.
  • General admin duties.
    • Profile
  • Garment technologist / QA experience 1-2 years
  • A strong ladies-wear background is preferred with experience attending fit
  • Must have attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Must be fully computer literate.
  • Knowledge of pattern cutting, grading and construction would be advantageous
