Job Description

IT Systems Administrator - Salford Quays (Office Based)Marlowe Fire & Security is currently seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Salford Quays. As a leading specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, we offer excellent career growth opportunities and a dynamicwork environment.

  • Salary £23-25,000 subject to experience
Work closely with both the IT & Integration team and users of the business, the IT Systems Administrator will have responsibility improving the following areas of the business in relation to IT Systems and usage.Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain knowledge, running, and assist in development of all internal systems
  • Roll-out and upgrade of all group systems where required.
  • Introduce processes to provide a secure user accounts, permission levels, data access etc. and ensuring user data is up to date and cleansed. Identifying data issues and managing Training plans for staff accordingly to ensure good IT System usage acrossall IT Systems within the business.
  • Identifying areas of duplication of data, rekeying and manual entry and recommending IT Solutions / Training to improve the businesses processes.
  • Help identify key systems for group usage and gaps in system usage
  • Working across the businesses post acquisition to support business development and retention
  • Communicate acquisition and integration information both externally to customers and internally to all businesses to best support the smooth integration of a business.
  • Provide regular reporting of progress to Systems & Integration Manager and Chief Commercial Officer where required
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT systems administrator or similar role
  • A Computing related degree would be ideal, we are happy to consider a recent Computing/IT Systems Graduate
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting networks (LAN, WAN)
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and databases
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
