HIGHWAYS BIM CONSULTANT (OUTSIDE IR35)Our client is a leading provider of Highways & Transportation engineering solutions across the UK. Due to their forward workload they have the following exciting opportunity availableThey are seeking an experienced BIM Consultant, with strong experience in highways projects to support a busy design team in Manchester. The post is available on both a contract and permanent basis and will be based from home with visits to the office in Manchester as required. Your responsibilities will include:- Preparing a delivery programme and using it to monitor progress and manage phasing of works to ensure minimum costs are incurred.- Chairing BIM team meetings as well as maintaining effective communication with stakeholders- Attend client meetings, answering queries and ensuring expectations are met- Creating a comprehensive 3D parametric library of standard design elements (i.e. gantries, cabinets, lighting columns, etc.) to improve the quality and programme of design projects.- Providing technical guidance relating to BIM and Civil 3D to other related projects as required.OUTSIDE IR35Scantec Personnel Limited is acting as an employment business and an employment agency.
