Job Description

2 Month Temp contract working with one of the countries largest charities, this is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!

If this sounds like you then read on...Working on shift patterns between 08:00am and 19:00 Monday to Friday and occasionally on a weekend, the appointed person will be expected to do the following, but not be limited to;
  • Handle calls in a friendly and positive manner
  • Log all details on the internal systems
  • Build rapport with internals and externals to create a smooth working environment
  • Handle inbound calls as well as making outbound calls
  • Providing information based on the services offered by the charity
  • Share success stories to help ease callers and make them feel the warmth and inviting nature of the company
  • Admin support - Updating files, capturing information, carrying out checks, updating bank details etc
  • Email communication
Plus much more.As you can see this is a very varied job, it will keep you constantly busy and you will feel extremely involved in the company not just a person on a seat.This would suit someone who has previous experience working in a call centre, helpdesk, switchboard but equally someone who has a strong passion to assist. You will also be required to have excellent communication skills - Clear and sympathetic. Anotherrequirement would be excellent written skills and good numerical and admin skills.This position is paid on an hourly basis with the full time equivalent being £19,000.If you want to be considered then please either apply online or send your CV to
