Job Description

My client is a thriving consultancy, who has operated as a trusted business partner to some of the biggest names in both the public and private sector nationally for over 20 years. Due to rapid continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner/Senior Finance Officer to support the Head of Corperate Services. This is a key role in the team and we are therfore only seeking candidates from a Professional Services Background.The primary purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day finance and commercial activities of this successful Consultancy.Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of colleagues in the relevant area of expertise
  • Maintenance of the Accounting systems and financial data
  • Ownership of the organisation’s IT and ensuring financial systems are aligned and employees are effectively trained on their use
  • Liaising with clients (POs/contracts, raising invoices, debt collection) Preparation of forecasts and cash flows Support timely production of statutory accounts and internal financial reports
  • Responsible for the timely production of the management accounts ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards
    • Essential Attributes:
  • A self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • A thorough understanding of both Professional Services and Finance applications and how they are used effectively
  • You will be able to demonstrate your experience of interacting effectively with a vibrant and dynamic advisory team
  • Proven communications skills with clients that have led to successful outcomes in relation to the role
  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified A minimum of 5-year experience in a similar role
