Estimator (Passive Fire Protection)Manchester£40,000/annum plus company vehicle/car allowanceOur client, a specialist fire protection contractor, require an experienced Estimator to join their team on a full time basis.The company are well established and specialise in fire proofing services for various sectors across the UK.This particular role will be North West based with the majority of works being based in Manchester.Roles & Responsibilities:- To complete tender quotations, estimates and lump sum prices for a range of clients - Liaise and build relationships with suppliers to secure the best prices. - Maintain a first class knowledge of current legislation and product information and specifications - Occasionally survey jobs to assess the scope of works - Create scope of works and pricing documents - Work off drawings and bill of quantities to establish costsYou must have a proven track record of working within the passive fire industry and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of fire doors, fire compartmentation and fire dampers.On top of a £40,000 salary, benefits will include company vehicle/car allowance, pension and additional company benefits.DCS Recruitment and all associated companies are committed to creating a working environment where diversity is celebrated and everyone is treated fairly, regardless of gender, gender identity, disability, ethnic origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital or transgender status, age, or nationality Required skills
