Hours: 37.5 per weekSalford Royal are looking for an enthusiastic, patient focused, progressive Radiographer. Are you a good team player Are you able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, and communication skills If you are then we have an opening for a CT night Radiographer.Radiology at Salford Royal is entering an exciting time with new multiple scanner installations and expanding services. CT at Salford is part of a wider MDT approach to healthcare and we recieve patients from many specialities incluing major trauma, stroke, neurosurgery and general surgery.In the past 2 years we have had 2 new CT systems installed including a new GE Revolution Evo CT scanner (first in the UK with AI technology) this system complements the 2 existing GE 64 Lightspeed systems and a Canon Acquilion Prime SP scanner. These services will be complemented by a brand new PACs system due for installation early 2021.Salford Royal is soon to break ground on a state of the art Acute Receiving Centre (ARC). This will see Salford Royal care for the majority of Greater Manchester trauma as well as Acute Abdomens via a purpose built building within the footprint of Salford Royal. As a Radiographer it is a fantastic opportunity to perform the latest imaging techniques utilising cutting edge technology. The ARC is set to house a hybrid theatre, 2 new CT scanners, a new MR suite, X-ray room and Ultrasound rooms.Salford Royal is a University Teaching Trust that aims to be the safest organisation in the NHS through providing safe, clean, and personal care to every patient, every time.
