Professional Service Organisation requires 2 credit controllers to join an expanding team (hybrid, 3 days per week in the office)The primary purpose of the credit control is achieve monthly cash collection targets by using proactive and overdue credit controlKey responsibilities include:* Prioritising collection of debt by value and customers payment profile, ensuring that contact has been made within the insurance policy requirements.* Recording and maintaining accurate records of account activity.* Monitoring daily cash received to ensure that accurate information is always available for reporting purposes.* Liaise with colleagues to resolve invoicing queries.* Process credit notes once the required authorisation has been obtained* Identify issue trends and ensure these are appropriately escalated to reduce ongoing queries/ errors.* Ensure excellent client service in all interactions* Provide statements to clients monthly.* Recording and maintaining accurate records of account activity.* Reconciliation of client accounts on both billed and unbilled debt in excel format, providing necessary information that will indicate amounts due and queries to be resolved.* Provide regular updates on the progress of overdue debt collection* Ensure Head of Credit Control is aware immediately of any potential bad debt issues.Ideally you will have experience in the following areas:* 5 years experience in credit control in a large company* Target Driven* Ability to work on own initiative* Ability to work to deadlines* Attention to detail* Team player with a flexible and committed approach* Strong communication skills - telephone and email* Basic excel skillsIn return you will receive a competitive salary, hybrid (3 days in the office), flexible benefits and an attractive bonus structureClick on the link to applyRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidatesRequired skills
