Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Collections Advisor to join a well established Utilities business, based in Salford Quays. You will be working within the Recoveries team, speaking to existing customers, help getting them back on track with their payments andsetting up payment plans.Client DetailsOur client are a well established Utilities business based in Salford Quays, they are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for Collections Advisors to join their Recoveries team. Our client offers great career progression, competitivesalary and excellent benefits.DescriptionDuties of the Collections Advisor will be:

  • As a Collections Advisor youll be responsible for all commercial and domestic collections activities for all services across the business portfolio in order to mitigate any bad debt risks.
  • Work within an existing skilled team to promote great customer interactions and outcomes
  • To deliver a flexible approach in order to manage and switch between outbound dialling through the dialler as well as inbound telephony demand from customers
  • Provide solutions to collections enquiries such as cash collection, customer correspondence, Direct Debit applications, disconnections, copy invoices and debt recovery reminder letters etc
  • Support in Identifying and preparing accounts to be passed to the businesses external Debt Collection Agencies
ProfileThe successful candidate will have the below skills:
  • To understand the customers requirements, responding with professionalism and effectively; using your organisational skills to handle customer queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer focused role is preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills
Job OfferPay rate £14.37 - £15.52Great company benefitsHours - Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6pm - on a rota basis
