Job Description

Year 2 Teacher - SaleWill you be looking for a new role in October 2022 Are you an experienced Year 2 Teacher looking for a position in a well ran and supportive Primary School in TraffordTradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join an OFSTED rated Good Primary School in the Sale area of Trafford. This Year 2 position which will begin in October 2022 until the end of the academic year. This positionwill be available due to a permanent member of staff relocating. The school have allocated a salary of up to M6 on the main pay scale (£36,961).In this Year 2 class teachers position, you will be responsible for a class of 30 children (depending on confirmed numbers) and will work within a team of 2 other Year 2 teachers. You will have the full range of teaching and learning responsibilities whichwill include the preparation for the KS1 SATS. The school are looking for a bright individual who has a proven track record in Key Stage 1, and more specifically experience with Key Stage 1 SATS.This large, 3 form entry inclusive Trafford Primary School follows the ethos that School should be at the heart of its community where diversity is celebrated, and pupils are respectful. In this role, you will benefit from the support of an experienced seniorleadership team and a borough leading CPD program. This school is a walk away from a major Metro link line and benefits from a large staff car park.Essential requirements:

  • Fully qualified Teacher Status
  • Teaching experience in the United Kingdom
  • Experience in Keys Stage 1 is essential and experience in Year 2 is desired.
  • The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
