Job Description

A vacancy has arisen in Property Repairs for an experienced Electrician. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, the core duties of the role are as follows:

  • Carrying out EICR to domestic properties and recording the relevant information
  • To carry out fault finding, repair works and domestic installations
  • The completion of EIR and Minor Works certificates
  • To complete all works associated with Part P of the current Building Regulations and to notify building control using the NAPIT Mobile app
  • To provide updates of all work orders and appointments in real time
  • To take responsibility for any customer queries or issues relevant to the role
  • To be fully aware of the repairs service promises and KPI’s
  • To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety regulations associated with the role
  • Monitors own van stock levels and replenishments
  • Spots inefficiencies in own work area and makes efforts to improve processes
    • It is essential that the successful candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
  • NVQ level 3, Electrical Installations
  • City and Guilds Level 3, Electrical installation
  • City and Guilds 2391, Inspection, testing and Certification
  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulation BS7671
  • Successful candidate to become a member of NAPIT
  • Full and clean driving licence
