Job Title: Compliance ManagerIndustry: Financial ServicesLocation: Sale, ManchesterSalary: £75,000Reference Number: 15891 Compliance ManagerRecruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for an Compliance Manager position near Manchester to join a leading technical pension advice firm.They are FCA regulated Pension Transfer Specialists, with a wealth of expertise and specialist knowledge in this area providing a robust, unbiased and client-focused advice service for those looking at transferring their UK defined benefit pension schemes.Offices near Manchester, with a highly qualified existing team of advisersThe company is currently seeking to employ a Compliance Manager to lead, manage and develop the Compliance Function and to hold the FCA Senior Manager Functions of SMF16 - Compliance Oversight and SMF17 - Money Laundering Reporting Officer.The Role: Compliance Manager

  • Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative
  • Provide day to day advice and guidance to the business on compliance and risk management related matters.
  • Undertaking the monitoring work
  • Main regulatory liaison with the FCA.
  • Training & Competency of all employees in compliance

Skills and experience required: Compliance Manager
  • Previous experience of working in a senior compliance role in Financial Services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to explain complex information simply and clearly
  • Research and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A professional and flexible approach to work demonstrating self-motivation and organisational skills
  • Excellent Word, Excel, Office knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure to short deadlines
Ideally you will have prior experience of defined benefit pension transfers and hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or already be working towards this.
