You will be providing crucial support for all properties across our portfolio...assist with all aspects of laundering our linen, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and reporting any issues/faults with items! Using your skills in communication, organisation and task management, you will be our newest member of our sociable, friendlyLaundry Team, responsible for washing, drying and ironing linen! Your Responsibilities This is a crucial role in our busy season!You will be responsible for delivering and collecting linen to and from our holiday cottages, liaising with cleaners, the laundry team and the Salcombe and Dartmouth offices.A typical day will see you...

  • Assist with all aspects of getting linen and towels ready to go out to properties; sorting, washing, drying, ironing and packing all laundry.
  • Must be compliant with all health and safety procedures whilst working on and with various laundry machines.
  • Ensuring compliance with Data Protection legislation.
  • To help improve, develop and implement administrative systems.
  • Fulfilment of other tasks assigned by the Managers and Directors.
  • To participate with other members of staff as necessary to develop company policy.
  • Proactively identifying potential issues and resolving them quickly.
  • Escalating any urgent/high priority issues in line with company policies.
  • Provide a professional and compassionate service that converts potential complainants into advocates for the brand.
Skills and Qualifications We know what kind of people we want in our team and our next Laundry Assistant will be our newest friendly, collaborative addition to our team! Full training will be provided to ensure you succeed however we ask you hold the following skills:
  • Deliver and collect our hire linen to properties during the changeover period
  • Must be a conscientious and careful driver, and will be fully responsible of the company van provided
  • Assist with all aspects of getting linen and towels ready to go out to properties; sorting, washing, drying, ironing and packing all laundry.
  • Must be compliant with all health and safety procedures whilst working on and with various laundry machines.
  • Ensuring compliance with Data Protection legislation.
