Job Description

TRIP has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Carpet Estimator and Salesperson to join a long-established luxury, family run retail business in Saffron Walden and work in their Carpet Department.Specific experience in selling carpets and estimation is highly desirable for this role, although full training will be given so experience in a related industry such as furniture sales would also be desirable. As to be expected, when you are not sellingin store, part of your time will be spent visiting customers homes to measure up, so a track record in a genuine service environment will also be essential.To succeed you will need:- The ability to actively listen to customers and establish customer needs.- Excellent communication skills.- A genuine enthusiasm for carpets and sales.- An ability to engage and inspire customers.- A passion for learning.- Care about the detail.- To work as a team player.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary, performance related pay, excellent benefits and the opportunity to join a strong family business and local brand with aspirations for the future.Basic + Initial guarantees + individual and team commission + bonuses OTE £30-£35k, (Basic c£16.5k, initial guarantees c£3k)
