Job Description

Avid personnel is currently in search of Maintenance Engineer to join our client for their team in Runcorn to work in a constantly changing environment as part of a growing company.The role:

  • To be the first response to machine breakdowns
  • Participating in Project and Installation work
  • Performing Planned and Predictive Maintenance
  • Advise on spare parts needed or suggested improvements to machines and processes
  • Following all Health and Safety procedures and policies
  • Actively assist in the training and development of Apprentice(s)
The Candidate:
  • Is a trained Mechanical Engineer
  • Multi Skilled is preferred
  • Has a knowledge of electrical control systems and PLC controlled equipment - (Rockwell would be an advantage)
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics fault finding experience
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Can work on their own initiative and be able to problem solve.
  • Experience of Automatic Paint Spraying plant would be an advantage
Hourly, weekly paid role - £16.90 with shift allowance of £149.78 (£42,951 inclusive of the allowance). This role is part of a 3 shift pattern (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am).
