Job Description

Land Acquisition SurveyorRuncorn£35,000-£50,000 + benefitsOur client, a leading network and telecommunications consultancy is seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Surveyor to join their growing team. You will identify land and buildings suitable for the building of new phone masts and upgrades, therefore experiencein this sector is essential to be considered for this role.Their clients include leading telecommunications companies, thereby providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skillset alongside the best in the field.You will liase with land and property owners to identify suitable land for building and then coordinate the surveying and planning duties. This may include lease negotiation, planning applications and ensuring the process is successfully completed throughto installation.Person Specification

  • At least 2-3 years experience within telecoms land acqusition (liaising with clients within the industry, therefore a working knowledge of the telecoms industry and client requirements)
  • Experience within lease negotioation, planning applications
  • A 2.1 degree in an applicable subject (surveying, town planning, property management, estate management, building surveying) - this qualification must be RICS or RTPI accredited.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle
The role will be predominantly office-based initially, though the role will include site visits, which may involve national travel.
