The Fitter will follow direction from line manager / planner for allocation of activities with responsibilityfor deciding the most effective course of action to take in order to rectify plant operational problems.The Fitter will be Mechanically biased and will work closely with an Electrical Engineer and will refer complex technical as well as logistical problems to Engineering Managers, Engineering Team Leaders or Shift Managers Refers complex technical / logisticalproblems to Engineering Managers, Engineering Team Leaders or Shift Managers.What skills and experience are we looking forFirst and foremost, attitude counts for a lot here at Saint-Gobain Although we do require someone with exposure to working in a similar Fitter role within a manufacturing / distribution / production environment, we are open to reviewing applications fromapprentice trained Mechanical Fitters across different sectors as we feel a positive attitude and a commitment to your learning and development are most important.
