Job Description

This Assistant Asset Accountant position in the Transport & Distribution industry requires a meticulous individual with a keen interest in Accounting & Finance.   • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
  • Contribute to the management of fixed assets and inventory.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and assist in the preparation for external audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations.
  • Contribute to the overall financial strategy of the company.
ProfileA successful Assistant Asset Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of asset accounting principles.
