Workshop SupervisorLocation: Ruislip, Middlesex, GB, HA4 0QHCompensation: Competitive Salary + BenefitsFull Time / PermanentPositionSF41182This is your opportunity to join Babcock International focusing on resource management, technical utilisation, workshop productivity, VOR reduction and health and safety policies and compliance.Who we are looking forWe are looking for a motivated individual with a real can do attitude who has the ability to network and build effective relationships as well as working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.What will you be doingAs a Workshop Supervisor, you will play a key role in identifying, driving and controlling successful maintenance activities within a LGV workshop environment.Your duties will include:* Demonstrating visible leadership characteristics & behaving in line with the Being Babcock principles.* Driving a culture of safety and wellbeing in the workplace. Delivering regular Toolbox talks to the workshop teams.* Supervising the workforce.* Planning and progressing work to ensure the effective use of both labour and equipment.* Providing technical expertise to the Technicians and Apprentices.* Driving the delivery of the most effective maintenance solution in line with agreed service perimeters.The experience youll bring You will need experience in repair and maintenance of LGVs, as well as proven supervisory experience in a LGV workshop environment.You will also need the following:

  • Must be able to demonstrate a historic background and knowledge of working in an LGV manufacturer, fleet or dealer related business.
  • Ability to deliver technical support to a group of colleagues within a busy environment.
  • IRTEC or HNC related certification.
  • Manufacturer accreditation.
  • Industry related certification or qualifications.
  • Proven track record in the management and motivation of teams to deliver.
