Job Description

The B & S Group is a privately-owned pharmaceutical company which manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical and healthcare products to the UK market. Established in 1999 we offer a wide range of products and services which includes specials, generic drugs, branded medicines, parallel trade and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Having undergone two acquisitions since 2010, we are continuing to strengthen and grow.We are looking for a Forensic Accounting professional to review accounting and business records and provide detailed analysis to help uncover essential facts and insights.DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Advising on and collating information required to support a claim/conduct an investigation
  • Analysis of accounts and financial data including assessing the financial position of companies to support our lawyers in making security for costs applications
  • Supporting our lawyers in preparing for mediations and settlement negotiations
  • Preparing analysis to assist with presentation of legal advice and assessment of settlement parameters
  • Input into commercial aspects of disputes including preparing detailed loss calculations, interest calculations and business valuations
  • Undertaking reviews of accounts and advising on technical accounting issues in the context of disputes and investigations
  • Document reviews in connection with financial investigations
  • Liaising with independent expert accountants
  • Critiquing expert accountant reports
  • Business development and marketing initiatives internally and externally
  • Assess losses and potential damage awards.
  • Audit internal and external financial documents.
  • Conduct and assist with Internal Investigations.
    • SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
  • A Proven Track record as a Forensic accountant
  • An understanding of corporate transactions
  • Compliance audits
  • Experience of document review
  • Have worked with legal and or claims.
