Job Description

Discovery are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive team at a Residential Care Home, based in Ruishton, Taunton where we support 7 adults who have learning disabilities and / or autism.As a Support Worker your role will involve you supporting the people we support live independently and to be the centre of all the decisions that they make; whether that be what to eat and drink, when to enjoy some spa time in the hot tub or choosing anynumber of other activities to enjoy to visiting places of interest, eating out and spending time with loved ones and family.You will be working alongside a team of dedicated colleagues who will support you into your new role and enable you to work with the freedom to use your own initiative throughout the day to make a real difference for the people we support.Our shift times are: 7am to 2pm for an early, or 2pm until 10pm for a late.Why join us

  • Full-time or part-time contracts available
  • £9.50 per hour, with overtime opportunities available with an extra 10% enhancement.
