Trailer TechnicianLocation: RugbySalary: £32,000 - £35,000 Basic + OvertimeHours: 2 weeks Early shift / 2 Weeks late shift - Rotating - 45 hours a weekMy client, one of the UKs leading manufacturers in the trailer, body and specialist vehicle industries is looking to employ a skilled Trailer Technician / HGV Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Mechanic for their busy, newly built state of the art site in Warwickshire. Responsibilities of Trailer Technician / HGV Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Mechanic:• Carry out Trailer inspections/MOT preparations to approved industry standard.• Carry out repairs to trailers as required to standard.• Tail lift & double deck LOLER inspections and repairs where required.• Welding/fabrication work.• General housekeeping within the workshop.• Demonstrate an ability to work with and assist other staff members as part of a team.• All jobs cards and relevant paperwork correctly filled out.• Diagnostic and repair of ABS/EBS systems• Good knowledge of electrical wiring systems.Requirements of Trailer Technician / HGV Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Mechanic:• City & Guilds/NVQ level 2 qualification or IRTEC certificated.• Minimum of 5 years previous experience within the industry.• Excellent communication skills.• Previous experience with Tail lift & Double deck preferable.• Previous electrical diagnostic experience preferable.• Must hold a valid driving licence • City & Guilds/NVQ level 2 qualification or IRTEC certificated.• Minimum of 4 years previous experience within the industry.• Excellent communication skills.• Previous experience with Tail lift & Double deck preferable.• Previous electrical diagnostic experience preferable.• Must hold a valid driving licence To apply, please send your CV quoting Trailer Technician to Dudley PineOr call Mob: Auto Skills UK – See our website for details.
