Job Description

Job Title: Managing Director, Nordic Business DevelopmentLocation: EUSelby Jennings are working with a leading £50 billion US real estate investment and asset management firm known for delivering superior returns. With a proven track record across two decades, my client excels in acquiring, developing, and managing high-valueassets across various sectors. Their integrated platform and expertise drive operational excellence, making them a trusted partner in the dynamic real estate market.The firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the team as a Managing Director coordinate capital raising across the Nordics. The ideal candidate will bring a network of institutional investors across the Nordics, and have a strongtrack record of capital raising within real estate, or the private markets.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute capital raising efforts for real estate, private debt, infrastructure, and private equity investments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Nordic and European institutional investors to raise capital for private market funds and direct investment opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and marketing materials to prospective investors, highlighting the strengths and unique aspects of the private market investment opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to investors on the progress and performance of the funds and respond to investor inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed about market trends and network with potential investors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital raising or investor relations for private markets.
  • Strong network of institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals across Nordics, additional relationships across Europe are highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
