Job Description

Graduate Electrical EngineerAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Graduate Electrical Engineer. The position is based in Rugby, Warwickshire however the applicant must be prepared to travel as required to visit clients within the UK and Europe.The successful candidate will earn £24,000 - £27,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.This is a key role within small and friendly company, as such the successful candidate will have a significant influence on decisions made at all levels. There will also be the opportunity to broaden your technical experience as the role covers a broad rangeof tasks to be performed in a variety of environments.Qualifications and Training

  • Recently obtained Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office + general database usage.
  • Experience using CAD for the production of electrical/mechanical drawings.
Role Requirements
  • Knowledge of single phase and three phase power distribution circuits, microprocessor based control systems, digital and analogue control circuits, safety circuits.
  • Ability to apply engineering knowledge practically and theoretically.
  • Ability to understand and interpret information and data for the proper performance of design engineering projects.
  • Understanding of the importance of using document and stock management systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A level physics or equivalent.
  • Experience of AutoCAD.
Role Responsibilities (not limited to)
  • To design electrical and electronic control circuits for machinery and equipment for the industrial laser industry.
  • To oversee the build, test and installation of industrial laser machines.
  • To provide technical assistance within the company and to clients regarding laser machines and process support.
  • On-site building, commissioning and testing of equipment.
  • Provide training to clients engineers and operators.
  • Maintain sector technical expertise and knowledge of innovative and emerging technology.
  • Assist production of all supporting documentation including build drawings and technical documentation manuals (including installation, operation and maintenance manuals).
  • Research and create initial design concepts.
  • Draft circuit diagrams, technical / design specifications and detailed design and equipment GA.
