Job Description

MHR Cloud services are looking for an outstanding IT operational management individual to bring their experience to a challenging new role as part of a high performing Managed IT services Team.The role of the Systems Delivery Manager is to effectively manage the Oracle and Solaris team within MHR Cloud Services.

  • Lead an operational delivery team to provide an excellent customer service experience.
  • Ensure the delivery of IT services to MHR customers in line with Service Level Agreements and contracts.
  • Be an escalation point for operational incidents, participating in an agreed escalations rota.
  • Provide management support across the delivery of all Hosted systems and services.
  • Maintain accuracy in recording services and assets across all hardware and software systems.
  • Support with the build and deployment of server architecture into data centres in line with company standards and build procedures.
  • Provide support at agreed maintenance weekends as required by the team.
  • Participate in managing the support function triage rota for analysing and allocating support requests to the correct technical areas.
  • Ensure standard procedures are maintained and followed.
  • Contribute to the production of service improvement plans.
  • Undertake research as required attending appropriate events, feeding back to extend team knowledge.
  • Partake in continual personal and professional development to stay up to date with the technology and practices in the field.

  • Technical knowledge of Solaris/ Oracle DB or similar technologies
  • Experience of Oracle Sparc hardware, SAN technologies, Cisco networking advantageous
