• Enable Professional Services in delivering the core processes, a common set of practices, principles, templates and documentation at a faster pace.
• Provide project management guidance, expertise and support to the PMO Project Coordinators.
• Accountable for managing and controlling the development of the core PMO processes.
• Develop and maintain the project libraries ensuring that all documentation is completed and kept up to date centrally on SharePoint.
• Manage & facilitate project forums for project lifecycle e.g. Change Board, Stage Gates etc. Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• The role would deliver the PMO audit agenda (supported by the PMO Project Coordinators) ensuring consistency and standardisation in working practices, outputs and remedial action.
• Ensure all controls are in place, reviewed and fit for purpose.
• Provide day-to-day level support to Project Managers, Project Teams and Project Coordinators.

Skills

• PRINCE2/APM qualified
• Proven Project Management or PMO experience including previous delivery experience and a pedigree in continuous process evaluation
• Previous use of a CRM/PPM tool
• Strong communication skills at all levels and able to hold people to account
• Strong influence and relationship building to ensure consistency of approach with project teams
• Keen eye for detail
