MHR is recruiting for a Head of IT to join its enterprise IT function.MHR are a Software, Technical Services, Managed Services and Hosting organisation who own and operate private data centres. This is becoming rarer and is an incredible opportunity for professional development.Role ResponsibilitiesThe Head of IT will be primarily responsible for providing Enterprise level support to over 850 Employees across hybrid cloud resources and physical offices and InfrastructureWorking closely with stakeholders and key business leaders the Head of IT will be key to driving the future success of MHR, by identifying and implementing appropriate technology solutions to meet the needs of strategic initiatives and solve business problemsDefine and deliver IT strategies to align to Business ObjectivesOperating a cloud first approach to ensure business systems support the changing dynamic of the business as it moves to a global operating modelDeliver operational leadership and drive excellence through the delivery of IT servicesSteering the IT delivery function, encompassing client systems, IT support, application management, and supporting systemsMaintain a commitment to enhancing IT functions by advancing and developing personnel, processes, and technologyAbout you:You will have experience leading and managing IT and technical teams to perform to their best potential, including coaching, training and developmentYou are passionate about the use of technology and IT to improve people’s day to day experiences, as well as improving business processes through automation and reducing manual interventionYou are someone who has in-depth experience of delivering IT services and who is also able to communicate and promote these services to stakeholders for the purposes of business enablement and improvementYou are keen to make a difference and care about what you doLead the IT Team with the goal to supply an efficient enterprise IT service, with a cloud first approach.Strong team and stakeholder management skills.Develop and shape the IT Function to be fit for purpose over time.Management of IT projects.Develop and implement operational standards and SLAs.Financial and capacity Planning, ensuring correct people and system resourcing to support the business needs.Management of efficient administrative functions.IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.IT Licencing and compliance.Supplier and Vendor management.Maintain security systems, principles and procedures.Budget planning and reporting.Strategic and Tactical PlanningBenefits to support you personally and professionally Alongside the opportunity to work with an incredible team and express your individuality, we offer a range of personalised benefits including:
