Job Description

If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about the role working with Artex as a Financial Commercial Manager based in Nottingham.How will you support usYou will ensure Artex maintains & improves our margin across all customers & products, through working with our Business Managers, our Product & Promo team to build margin enhancing trading agreements, new product introductions & promotions.This exciting role as a Financial Commercial Manager will see you supporting a £60m business ensuring that we maximise all commercial opportunities, from annual trading deals, to new product introduction to promotional activity. In this role, you will;

  • Ensure we maintain & improve our margin across all customers & products
  • Ensure new customers & products are delivering margin growth
  • Work with the sales team to create the annual trading deals, ensuring we maximize growth & margin opportunities.
  • Utilise your data analysis skills to build engaging & insightful margin & revenue stories for our teams to better see where opportunities lie
  • Working alongside the commercial team, build the "right" promotional activity, and bring insight to the team on how we can improve where, how & what we promote.

  • Experience in maintaining & improving margin across customers / products
  • Experience of ensuring new customers / new products are delivering margin growth (cash and/or %)
  • Worked with a sales team creating commercially enhancing trading terms / agreements
  • Line management experience as you will direct report
  • Worked cross functionally to gather financial data to enable production of "true" product or customer profitability
  • Desirable - Finance background
