• Poses a strong aptitude for problem solving, with a logical innovative approach but ultimately have that rare ability to be able to communicate across technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders to bring clarity and purpose
• Be an excellent, well respected technical lead that can motivate, mentor and inspire
• Have commercial acumen and understand the needs of the customer
• Able to define, communicate and deliver Technical strategies

Working across the business this role will have primary responsibility for defining and setting the technical strategy and approach across all MHRs products and software solutions and will require you to be able to be able to work autonomously, planningyour own teams work and priorities. There will be a considerable amount of time investigating and reviewing technologies and solutions, being hands on with proof of concepts and planning product architectures to work with our Cloud SaaS and Private Cloud offerings.In addition, the role will be a key lead:

• As Data Science foundations are being established, teams are ready to start Data Engineering using Azure Databricks
• Managing and supporting move over to Azure Kubernetes to host our microservices
• With Microservice programmes where shipments are every 2 weeks with ambition to move over to independent microservice releases
• Across Large scale software solutions with interesting and complex computer science problems that need to be solved

Principal Role Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with business stakeholders to initiate and deliver technology evaluations, prototypes, recommendations, and solutions in-line with business needs to increase efficiency and drive revenue
• Provide leadership and oversight to provide Architecture Designs and ensure technical standards across all MHR products
• Develop, maintain and clearly communicate plans, goals, strategies and architectural roadmaps
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of strategic business plans.
• Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
• Gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives
• Oversee, mentor and provide direction to the architecture team
  • Implementation of enterprise data and metadata structures
  • Integrate business systems and workflows in support of business strategy
  • Develop best practices for master data management and integration
• Support business and IT strategic planning
• Support product development teams.
• Work with the CTO to plan annual infrastructure and software strategy
• Develop and maintain knowledge of technology through external partnerships and relationships
• Develop, communicate and deploy Enterprise Architecture Governance processes
• Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans.
