Job Description

If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about the Assistant Product Manager opportunity in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire.This exciting role will see you work alongside the Senior Product Manager to help define and deliver profitable solutions for new product introductions, product launches, marketing campaigns and promotional activities. You will work in the Commercial Team and is closely aligned with sales, communications and technical functions.How will you support usIn the role as Assistant Product Manager you will;

  • Analyse and evaluate market opportunities, using data and insight, to identify and recommend new product introductions, aligned with business and market needs
  • Capture customer feedback to assist in the development of new products or the repositioning of existing products and ranges
  • Conduct regular competitor product reviews and report findings
  • Manage the end to end development and introduction of new products, using the NPI process as a risk management tool to ensure effective development, commercialisation and launch
  • Manage products through all stages of their lifecycle stages; regularly reviewing performance and proposing initiatives to maximise profitability
  • Work with the Promotions Manager and creative agencies to propose and deliver campaigns and promotions, putting measures in place to monitor ROI and measure success
  • Work with Business Managers to produce and execute customer promotional plans, including targeted cross selling, upselling and product bundling, to drive sales
  • Produce content, collateral, sales presentations and training tools

  • Commercial experience at Assistant Product Manager / Product Developer / Product Executive level
  • Experienced in delivering product launches and marketing campaigns
  • History of developing tangible products
  • Exposure to the full marketing mix
  • PC literate: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Requires full UK driving license
