Job overviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an ADMINSTRATOR to join our vibrant and friendly team at RUDDINGTON MEDICAL CENTRE. NHS General Practice experience would be desirable however full training will be given. Ruddington Medical Centre is an Accredited Training Practice. We have trainee GPs and also a number of medical students. We were rated Good by the CQC.Main duties of the jobMonday Friday 8:30am 4:00pmMay have flexibility with timesHaving experience of working in General Practice would be preferable. It is essential that the candidate has a minimum of 1 year administration experience. The candidate must be competent in I.T, especially Microsoft word and Excel and embrace new projects involving new technology. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are also essential. The position is predominately to provide administration support to the practice, especially the management team. Administrative activities include assessing and distributing electronic and paper clinical correspondence, summarising new patients medical records and supporting new projects. It also involves holiday cover for the medical secretary and ad hoc reception cover. This position is very varied and evolving. It plays a vital role in enabling the practice team to deliver exceptional patient care in an ever changing and challenging environment.About usThis is an important job and the rewards are joining a great supportive team, modern working environment and the NHS pension scheme.
