Job Description

Are you interested in working for a business who manufacture and maintain special purpose electronic systems Are you an Wirer seeking a new and exciting role Would you be interested in an ongoing contract with the potential of lots of overtimeIf so, dont miss out - please read on and apply now!Requirements:

  • A prior background within Engineering and a production environment as a Machine Wirer or Control Panel Wiring
  • An Engineering education - ideally an apprenticeship and industry experience but other relevant qualifications would be accepted
  • Previous experience of wiring control panels into various pieces of machinery
  • Previous experience of complete machine wiring
  • A good understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Basic Panel Wiring understanding - fitting of Din-rails, wiring motors, inverters, controls etc
  • Basic crimping / looming and wiring skills
Responsibilities:
  • Crimping, looming and terminating of cables and wires
  • Complete machine wiring from scratch
  • Working from a range of engineering drawings
  • Making bespoke alterations where required
  • Wiring of controls panels into pieces of machinery
  • Basic Panel Wiring - assembly and wiring of the panel from scratch
  • Assisting other Machine Wirers where needed
  • Reporting faults and mistakes where appropriate with Engineering drawings - helping to improve the Machine Wiring process
