Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Practitioner Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team in North Lincolnshire! This is a great opportunity for a Psychologist with experience working with adults who have been diagnosed with Learning Disabilities and, or Autism.The successful candidate will be providing a specialist psychology service and play an integral role as part of an expanding team, working collaboratively across their adult homes.This is an amazing company to work for, they are dedicated to providing outstanding care to all individuals they support and their staff.   • Previous experience as a Practitioner Psychologist working with adults with Learning Disabilities.
  • Active HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Key responsibilities:
  • Providing a systematic high-quality psychology service within the designated provision.
  • Working collaboratively with others to promote the wellbeing and best interests of the adults you support and the effectiveness of the service in achieving its aims and objectives, ensuring a high quality service provision in line with best practice guidelines and internal policies and procedures
  • Undertaking all aspects of Clinical Psychology duties adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Carrying out assessments; designing individualised plans and strategies; implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions; report writing, attending and facilitating multi-professional reviews
  • Providing advice, information and training to staff, other members of the Clinical Wellbeing and multi-disciplinary team(s), commissioners and other agencies.
