Job Description

Salary is negotiable DOE + 20%-25% OTE Paid Quarterly (Over achievement element) + Pension + Private Healthcare + Death in Service (4x Basic Salary) + 24 Days Holiday (plus 8 days stats) + Mobile Phone and LaptopLocation: Office based in the Manchester region with occasional travelThe Requirements:

  • It is important that you have strong sales experience already (2+ years) as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, Internal Sales, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager or Territory Manager selling Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry or related analytical equipment
  • Previous experience of selling the same type of Extractables & Leachables services for companies such as Toxikon, Nelson Labs, LGC, Intertek or Waters would be a distinct advantage
  • You will have a BSc/MSc/PhD in a Chemistry degree such as: Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic/In-Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or closely related area
  • You will utilise your excellent communication and organisational skills
  • My client is looking for a true relationship builder who is able to sell the company’s products in a technical and knowledgeable way
  • You must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel when required
  • The Responsibilities:
  • As part of the commercial team you will jointly manage the Extractables & Leachables (E&L) business alongside a team of subject matter experts and operational teams
  • You will be responsible for maintaining existing and developing new E&L customers in line with targets ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • This role will primarily be based at my client’s site in Manchester and you will have the opportunity to attend meetings, exhibitions and visit customers in the UK and globally

  • My client is an industry leading product testing laboratory focusing on extractables & leachables and ENDS product testing across several industries to include Pharmaceuticals, Tobacco and Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems, Polyurethane Foam, Agrochemicals, Chemicals and Persistent Environmental Pollutants.
