The administrator will be providing the following support to the team.The main remit of this role is to complete a number of complex data collation projects as well as setting up systems to ensure ongoing daily, weekly and monthly accurate data collection processes run smoothly.1. Develop and complete database of waste management legal documentsTo develop and complete a database for all paperwork (digital and hardcopy) associated with waste management legal compliance (including hazardous waste consignment notes, waste transfer notes, quarterly returns and other documents). This project will also include highlighting gaps in the database and chasing up with suppliers to address these gaps, as well as scanning hard copy paperwork to create a digital filing system.2. Desktop waste contractor auditsTo support a desktop waste contractor audit process, work through a list of legal documents required from each of the Trusts waste management contractors - to establish what is currently held on record, what needs to be chased up with suppliers for a current version and to develop and complete an accurate database accordingly.3. Waste data and inbox filingTo contact all waste contractors to ensure that all waste management data is sent to one, communal shared email inbox and to set up a clear filling structure within this shared inbox accordingly4. Waste shared driveTo amalgamate two substantial shared drives containing all key waste management information for all the Trusts hospital sites.5. Waste contractor databaseTo use all the information which has been collated and organised through the above projects to develop and complete a waste contractor database for the TrustThe skills required are* Have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy* Be experienced and skilled with Microsoft Excel (all versions)* Be highly organised and able to work across multiple projects on a day-to-day basis simultaneously and maintaining accuracy at all times* Be a string, clear communicator with the ability to engage with a range of colleagues and suppliers* Be focused, diligent and a starter-finisher* Have experience of developing databases, systems and processes.Manchester Royal Infirmary is located on Oxford Road and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is on site parking (Fees will apply) in the multi storey car parks on Grafton Street and Hathersage Road.
