Job Description

Trainee Estate Agent / Trainee Lettings Negotiator

  • Applications are now invited from Trainees who are looking to enter the Estate Agency / Lettings industry and become a Negotiator, however, you will need to either be a graduate, or have a strong sales background.
  • Suitable for University Graduates or individuals who have experience selling, in industries such as car sales, mobile telephone sales or membership sales.
  • You will need a valid UK driving Licence.

Trainee Estate Agent / Trainee Lettings Negotiator - Role Overview:
  • You will provide clients and customers with a professional Estate Agency / Lettings service, maximising business from opportunities you have created.
  • The role involves plenty of telephone work in order to generate leads, which follows on to property viewings and ultimately a successful sale / let, as well as cross-sales.
  • Exceptional people skills are required so you can build rapport with your clientle and maximise sales opportunities whilst delivering unparalleled customer service.
Trainee Estate Agent / Trainee Lettings Negotiator - Key Responsibilities:
  • To interview applicants in a structured fashion, identifying needs and business opportunities.
  • To contact qualified applicants regularly, advising them of suitable properties and arranging viewing appointments.
  • To negotiate with potential purchasers, ensuring that your clients interests are your primary concern.
  • To co-ordinate your transactions ensuring that you provide the highest standards of customer care to buyers / sellers or tenants / landlords, expediting the matter and securing future recommendations.
  • To integrate into a team environment and to provide support to your colleagues and Branch Manager.
  • To introduce clients and applicants to your Mortgage Consultant.
  • To ensure that service standards laid down by the company are met.
  • To achieve sales targets as agreed with your Branch Manager.
  • To be familiar with all systems, procedures and legislation.
  • To project a professional image to the public and work colleagues.
Trainee Estate Agent / Trainee Lettings Negotiator - Experience / Qualification:
  • A recent University Graduate or a robust Sales background
  • A valid UK driving licence
Trainee Estate Agent / Trainee Lettings Negotiator - Remuneration:
  • £16,000 - £20,000 Basic Salary commensurate with experience
  • £30,000 - £40,000 Year 1 On Target Earnings, rising in future years
  • A company car
