The JobThis successful Primary SEN School in Southwark is seeking to appoint an excellent and experienced SEN Teacher for an ASD Class starting as soon as possible, forthe foreseeable and with the view of taking the teacher on to a permanent contract.You will teach a class of students in Key Stage 2 with various needs, Autism being their primary diagnosis. The school benefits from excellent staffing ratios, small class sizes and a highly personalised approach to learning. The class consists of no morethan 7 pupils with needs are complex and you will have the full-time support of 2 skilled Teaching Assistants. Many of the students are non-verbal so alternative communication systems are used such as PECs. You will deliver a highly adapted curriculum, sensorybased, to develop students basic skills in Maths and English and Fine Motor Skills.The SchoolThis Peckham based SEN School offers state of the art purpose built facilities accessible to all students with complex needs including;
