Vice Principal: CurriculumHours; Full time (37hrs per week, all year round)Duration; PermanentSalary; £65,000 per annum + benefitsLocation; Cross College role, Rotherham, Dearne Valley & Worksop About the RoleAs Vice Principal Curriculum you will be responsible for ensuring the continuing development of the Groups strategy relating to all curriculum areas of provision which leads to student/customer success.You will provide inspirational leadership to the Groups Campus Managers and their communities. You will work with Directors of Curriculum and Campus Managers to encourage innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment in line with national developments,employer needs and needs of our students. You will have a relentless focus on providing excellent facilities, education and training that empowers others to fulfil their potential and flourish resulting in excellent work, high-level technical skills developmentand performance outcomes that meet the needs of our students.You will provide leadership and work with Campus Managers for the curriculum planning, delivery strategy and performance improvement for Rotherham, North Notts and Dearne Valley Colleges. As Vice Principal Curriculum you will be accountable for providinghigh quality provision, across all provision types and ages, including HE, day release apprentices, looked after, home educated and learners who have high needs. You will have a relentless focus on providing excellent education and training, and a curriculumthat empowers others to fulfil their potential and flourish.You will lead on the Groups operational tracking and monitoring of learner progress and skills development. You will take a risk-based approach to performance management and be responsible for ensuring students acquire the skills they need to move intoor progress in a job or to further learning at a higher level.You will lead on the Groups operational curriculum planning process so that we can address existing and new challenges, establish priorities for the future, and sustain incremental improvement to achieve an improved market share in ALL provision types andhigher-level skills priority areas.You willTo be successful you will need a strong track record of inspirational leadership within a large complex educational organisation, a provided ability at successfully managing effective teams and the ability to partner with external organisations.You will have a knowledge and understanding of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, and successful implementation of strategies aimed at improving student progress and achievements. You will have proven experience of operational delivery across a range of areas of responsibility through effective planning and monitoring of performance against action plans and targets. You will have a successful track record in innovative androbust curriculum planning. You will hold literacy and numeracy at level 2 or above (or equivalent), a degree or other similar qualification as well as a recognised teaching qualification and CPD evidence. Department InfoYou will report directly to the Deputy CEO/Principal and achieve corporate objectives as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
