Job Description

Senior Mechanical EngineerWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our prestigious client. The role will be based at their site in Brinsworth, South Yorkshire.Our client is the largest provider of industrial, medical, and special gases in the UK and Ireland.   • Provide mechanical engineering assistance to operations, including supporting the engineering management team.
  • Take responsibility for the mechanical engineering deliverables on large multi-disciplined projects or managing smaller disciplined projects. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all relevant internal and external standardsand regulations.
  • Provide Technical authority guidance and support.
  • Take ownership of several internal standards.
  • Undertake internal audits.
  • Contribute and deliver continuous improvement objectives.
  • Support the development of other engineers within the business.
What we are looking for:
  • Qualified to a Bachelors and masters level in Mechanical Engineering or Similar subject.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards the qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years providing engineering support to operations or projects in the process industry, ideally working with pressure systems and equipment.
  • History of role modelling the behaviours aligned to being an inclusive workplace.
