The business has grown annually over its 40 year history and now employs over 350 in Rotherham and 600 across the Group in the UK.The role is varied, working within a team. Some duties that will be involved are as followsStock Control: picking and putting away components from and to stock carousels, maintenance of carousels via regular counts and housekeepingPicking/sorting components from storage carouselsSeal Assembly: building bearing isolator seals from component formMarking: engraving of components prior to buildPacking: boxing assembled products for despatch.Inspection: measurement of components prior to build to ensure complianceAssisting with goods in/despatchOccasional pressure testing of certain sealsYou will be IT literate, ideally with previous experience of working within an engineering or warehouse environment. You should share their desire to provide exceptional customer service and be eager to assist in the continuous improvement of the organisation. Excellent time keeping is requiredThe hours of work are ordinarily 9am - 5pm or 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday to FridayHowever, in order to maintain appropriate social distancing within the workplace, the hours of work have been temporarily changed to 6am - 2pm Mon - Fri one week, and then 2pm - 10pm the week after.
