Job Description

Position: KS1 SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: RotherhamRate of Pay: £86-95 per dayGSL Education are currently looking for nurturing and resilient KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant in an OFSTED Good Primary School based in Rotherham. The school has a strong learning community which is built upon trust, mutual respect and unity.The Role:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Passionate about each child’s learning and personal development
  • Engage with and support the whole school community
  • Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Support Teachers in managing a classroom and supporting with behaviour management
  • Attending to children’s personal needs where required
  • Needs to be flexible, resilient, nurturing and a team player
This role is a part time role with flexible working hours. Please note, that this school requires extra support throughout the academic year, so there is a possibility that the school will offer a contract extension or offer the position on a permanent basisto the right candidate.Why work with GSL Education
