You will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging RE lessons, encouraging critical thinking, cultural awareness, and promotingan appreciation for religious diversity. Tradewind is seeking a passionate educator who can inspire and engage students, fostering an environment where they can explore and reflect upon their beliefs and values.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver captivating RE lessons tailored to different age groups.
  • Utilise innovative teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation and thoughtful discussions.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in or organise extracurricular activities related to RE.
  • Collaborate with school colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum.
  • Uphold the values and ethos of the school.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education.
  • Experience teaching RE at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
