Job Description

Production Assistant required for a steel fabricator based in Rotherham.Production Assistant Position Overview

  • Following of the laser kitting process
  • Working on MRP printing programming sheets and investigating jobs to completion, taking pictures to have full traceability
  • Housekeeping - ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the Departments and Profile Compound are always maintained to a high standard to comply with Health and Safety standards
  • Maximize the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely manner
  • Collect parts from various machines and do milk runs to keep the machines areas tidy, safe, and workable
Production Assistant Position Requirements
  • Fork Lift Truck - Counterbalance Licence - Side loader
  • Ability to work efficiently and build effective working relationships
  • Overhead crane / slinging & lifting skills
  • Experience in a similar role/environment
  • Needs to be able to read engineering drawings
  • Operate a drill or similar machinery
  • Work to a high standard
Production Assistant Position Remuneration3 shift rotation: Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am - 37.5 hrs per week£10.62 + SA = £13.28
