Job Description

Venatu Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assistant to join our long established client in Rotherham on a permanent basis.Hours of work:Monday-Friday days/afters/nights (rotating weekly)Pay Rate:£13.28 p/h (including shift allowance)Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Following of the laser kitting process
  • Working on MRP printing programming sheets and investigating jobs to completion, taking pictures to have full traceability
  • Housekeeping - ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the Departments and Profile Compound are always maintained to a high standard to comply with Health and Safety standards
  • Maximize the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely manner
  • Collect parts from various machines and do milk runs to keep the machines areas tidy, safe, and workable
Requirements & Experience:
  • Fork Lift Truck – Counterbalance Licence – Side loader
  • Ability to work efficiently and build effective working relationships
  • Overhead crane / slinging lifting skills
  • Experience in a similar role/environment
  • Needs to be able to read engineering drawings
  • Operate a drill or similar machinery
  • Work to a high standard
